John Robinson Hough
ORANGE- John Robinson Hough passed away at Brockton VA Medical Center after a short illness on January 9, 2025.
He was born at Farren Memorial Hospital in Montague, Franklin County, Massachusetts on February 18, 1942, to Pershing A Hough (dec 1959) and Elizabeth D Gibbs Hough (dec 2000). John was a lifelong resident of Orange, MA and graduated from Orange High School.
He is also predeceased by his grandparents, William H and Mabel E (Higgins) Gibbs and Amos and Elizabeth (Robinson) Hough, all of Orange.
John was an only child and never married. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany in 1968. John worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 15 years and as a welder at John Hunt.
He predeceased his cousin, Kay F Johnson of Orange by 3 days. In their younger days, he and Kay spent a lot of time biking and playing card games. Their favorite memories are of traveling to the World’s Fair in New York City and Montreal.
Services will be held May 30, 2025 with interment in Central Cemetery, Orange.
