Joseph C. Christian

ORANGE- Joseph C. Christian, 68, of East River Street, died on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Athol Hospital.

Born in Columbus, Ohio on March 21, 1955, he was the son of Lewis D. and Norma J. (Proulx) Christian.

Joseph was previously married to Denise (Dupuis).

A member of the United States Navy, Joseph served from November 4, 1980 until his honorable discharge on October 26, 1983.

He was a construction worker most of his life before retiring.

Joseph had been a member of the Orange Gun Club for many years.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Christian of Falmouth; a half brother, Lewis D. Christian Jr.; sisters, Debbie Christian Sheppard and Sandy Christian Borella; and a half sister, Lisa Christian Elkins; and his best friend of over 30 years, Paul Talbot and his wife, Kathy, who helped him after his stroke 6 year ago.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents.

Services will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
