ORANGE- Judith M. (LaFlash) Gancorz, 76, of Stone Valley Road, died peacefully Tuesday evening, November 2, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Worcester on December 18, 1944, she was the daughter of Romeo and Margaret (Jones) LaFlash.
On August 2, 1975, Judith married Louis Gancorz and they enjoyed over 32 years of marriage until his death on February 7, 2008.
Judith had worked at Thomas & Betts in Orange, as well as Athol Table.
Judith loved being with her family and friends, watching the Boston Red Sox and doing woodworking.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Mikulskis of Athol, Francis Mikulskis of Webster, Mark Mikulskis and his wife, Jackie, of Athol, and Leonard Mikulskis and his wife, Terry, of Collinwood, Tennessee; grandchildren, Miranda, Holly Ann, Louis, Norman, Chris, Destiny, Lenny Jr., Samantha, Dakota, Markie, Dixie Lee and Dave; along with many great grandchildren; a brother, Francis LaFlash and his wife, Jackie, of Paxton; and a sister, Patricia Wheeler and her husband, Larry, of Burlington.
Besides her parents and husband, Judith was predeceased by a son, David Mikulskis, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Mikulskis.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. , at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A short prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Fr. Mateus Souza of Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol officiating.
A celebration of life will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Orange American Legion, 40 Daniel Shays Highway, Orange.
