ORANGE- Judith A. (Lowell) Talbot, 84, of Red Brook Lane, died on Tuesday morning, May 9, 2023 at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Boston.
Born in Putnam, Connecticut on February 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marguerite (Calvi) Lowell and grew up in Athol.
On April 23, 1960, Judith married Arthur Talbot and they just celebrated 63 years of marriage last month.
Besides spending time with her family, Judith enjoyed sewing and coloring.
Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur Talbot of Orange; her children, Barbara Shaw and her husband, Robert, of Athol, Gail Shaw, David Talbot and Paul Talbot, all of Orange; grandchildren, Robert Shaw Jr., Robin Shaw, Keith A. Shaw, Dawn Marie Shaw, and Naomi Shaw; great grandchildren, Damon Mitchell Jr., George David Santiago, and Trisha Emporse; four great grandchildren; and brothers, Richard Lowell of New Hampshire and Robert Lowell of Utah.
Besides her parents, Judith was predeceased by a granddaughter, Felecia Shaw, a great grandson, Xavier William Reynolds, and a half sister, Jane Lowell McGuirk.
There are no calling hours.
Interment will be on May 19, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery, corner of Daniel Shays Highway and Fielding Way, Athol.
