ORANGE- Judith A. (Woodbury) Anderson, 78, of Orange, died Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Baystate Springfield Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Michael T. Anderson Sr. in 2006. 

She was born in Erving, MA, on August 2, 1945, daughter of Lloyd and Monetta (Masterson) Woodbury. She grew up in Erving and graduated from New Salem Academy in 1963. She married Michael T. Anderson in 1964. She was employed for over 20 years at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, retiring in 2010. She had previously been employed at Ralph C. Mahar for many years. She was an active member of the Erving Senior Center where she enjoyed Bingo, trips, holiday and social gatherings. She was also a member of the Mission Covenant Church in Orange for many years, frequently serving on committees there. 

Mrs. Anderson loved being with her family. She enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by son Michael T. Anderson Jr and his wife Larissa (Barnes) of Wendell; daughter BethAnn Anderson of Athol, her children Brittany (Stoddard) and her husband Eric Glatczak and their children Addison, Cooper and Dwight, Brendon Stoddard of Athol and his partner Caitlin Goss and children Cassidy and Jackson, Christian Barnes of Athol and his partner Calista Sawin, Amy (Barnes) Bardsley and husband Matt and children Isla, Jackson and Iona; and daughter Robyn (Anderson) Yetts and her husband Stuart, their children Virginia, Simon, Marcus and Jared of Palmer, Gavin Yetts and his wife Grace (Larochelle) of Ludlow and Andrew Yetts and his wife Noelle (Anderson) of Gloucester.

Mrs. Anderson especially enjoyed her relationships with her brothers and sisters. Vacationing, traveling and visiting with them was one of her most favorite activities. She was predeceased by several of her siblings: May Anderson and Louise Golosh of Erving and Lloyd Woodbury of Clinton, IL. She is survived by her sister Joyce Duguay of Sanbornville NH and Richard Woodbury of Rangely, ME. She also has numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was especially close and dear to many of them. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2 pm at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main St, Orange, MA with Pastor John Mackenzie officiating.

Calling hour will be held 1-2 pm, prior to the service.
