ORANGE- Julie A. Reid, 51, of Bacon Street, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020 after being stricken ill.
Born in Gardner on April 2, 1969, she was the daughter of William and Judy (Pearsell) Reid and grew up in Baldwinville and attended Naraganesett Regional School in Templeton. Julie later took course at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
Julie has been the life partner of Bernard Hardy for close to 20 years.
A hard and dedicated worker, Julie was a Personal Care Assistant for many years.
Julie volunteered for the Athol Animal Control as well as the Valuing Our Children of Athol.
A loving and caring person, Julie enjoyed hours of laughter with her children and grandchildren. She also loved animals, especially her pets. An avid dancer, she also loved listening to blues music, the Mighty King Snakes, Rubber Baits, and most of all Charlie Scott.
Survivors include her children, Jessica Reid (Eric Simens) of Winchendon, Danielle Chase (Bill Cronin) of Orange, Kayleigh Chase (Terry Shufelt) of Athol, Brandon Doucette and Logan Doucette, both of Orange; grandchildren, Ayden Reid, Joyce Simens, Elijah Cronin and Xavier Correa; her lifepartner, Bernard Hardy; her step father, Ralphel Pearsell Sr. of Florida; a step brother, Ralphel Pearsell Jr. of Gardner; and her former partner, Bill Chase of Athol.
