June (Dame) Jess Obituary
ORANGE- June (Dame) Jess, 79, of East Road, died early Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.
Born in Fitchburg on April 10, 1942, she was the daughter of Albert and Josephine (Morand) Dame.
She was married to Richard R. Jess, who predeceased her.
June had worked for the Starlight Plastic Company for a number of years.
June enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, and most arts and crafts.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce Jess and his wife, Judie, of Tennessee, Robert Jess and his wife, Maria, and Scott Jess and his wife, Karen, all of Gardner; a daughter in law, Tina Jess, of Orange; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Jan Delauder and her husband, Ralph, and Dorothy Lemay and her husband, Joseph; and several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents and husband, June was predeceased by a son, Richard A. Jess Sr., a brother, Albert Dame, and sisters, Irene Bourgault and Alice Dame.
There are no calling hours or services.
