ORANGE- June Lawson was born in Orange November 11, 1925, to Fred and Isabel Noyes Lawson. She was a 1943 graduate of Orange High School.
She lived in the Boston, Newton area for 18 years and she worked 12 years at the Jenney Gas Company in Newton, MA, returning in 1963 to Orange to live with and care for her mother in the family home on West River St. built in the 1880’s which her parents bought in 1927 from the original owner.
She was employed at the Rodney Hunt Company for 27 years as receptionist and Accounts Payable Clerk.
June’s interest was quilting and working on her computer doing her family genealogy.
She was a lifetime member of the Orange Historical Society, and member of the Orange Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her mother and father and a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Mary Lawson.
She is survived by her nephew Kent Lawson and wife Linda Booth of Bolton, MA, and her niece Marcia Horman and her husband Ted of Athol, MA, two grandnephews, Devon and Ethan Bremner and grandniece Kelly Bremner and their families whom she adored.
She also leaves behind her special friends, Tom and Kathy Mayberry, Roberta Anderson, and special neighbors, friends and care givers John and Polly Wozny, and caring neighbors Chris and Christine Cody, and care givers, Karen, Jennifer and Joyce.
By her request there are no calling hours or services.
