Karen E. Matthews

ORANGE- Karen Elaine Matthews, age 63, passed away November 22, 2023 t the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester with family at her side.

She was born November 16, 1960 at Toule Air Force Base in France.

She held many jobs but for the last 20 years she worked at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol as a dietary aide.

She was the daughter of Elaine and the late Derrill C. Matthews of Orange.

Karen is survived by her mother, Elaine Matthews of Orange; two sisters, Kelly Bailey of Gardner and Krista Coy of Orange; a brother, Kevin Matthews of Athol; and many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.

Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is assisting the family.
