ATHOL- Keith C. Chase passed away on June 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on July 6, 1960, the son of Joyce (Arnot) Chase and the late Thomas Chase. He grew up in North Orange.
After graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional, he enlisted in the Marines where he traveled extensively. He was discharged as a Sergeant after spending much of his military career as an Embassy Guard.
After his discharge from the Marines Keith spent 20 years as a Corrections Officer.
During his retirement Keith became a published author of historical fiction.
His beloved dog and 3 cats predeceased him.
In addition to his mother of North Orange, Keith leaves two brothers Scott (wife Ellen) of Athol, Richard (wife Lynn) of Orange and a sister Elizabeth of Amherst.
He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many beloved friends worldwide.
Graveside service will be held on June 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Tully Cemetery, 350 Tully Road, Orange.
