BUTLERVILLE, IN — Kenneth Lowell Cleveland, 88 formerly of Orange, MA, currently of Butlerville, IN passed away peacefully of complications due to COVID19, pneumonia and dementia Monday, October 4, 2021 at South Central Indiana Hospice Center in Columbus, IN.
Kenneth was born in Worcester, MA on June 22, 1933 to the late Arthur H. Cleveland and Katherine M. Buckman Cleveland.
The family moved to Orange, MA 1936 where Kenneth grew up and attended Orange schools up until the 9th grade then went into the Air Force being discharged with Honorable Conditions February 25, 1955.

Kenneth worked for the Erving Paper Mill in Erving, MA where he met his wife Joan E. Chevalier Cleveland of 40 years. Kenneth then went on to work for the L. S .Starrett Company for 30 plus years before retiring.
Kenneth was a member of the Athol/Orange MA Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses then moved to the North Vernon, IN Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2014.
Kenneth loved his cats, was always good natured, had a joke to bring to his doctor's visits and the doctor's would ask him…."Kenny, what's the joke for today?" He was so good at telling his jokes! He was a loving father, enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth lived with his daughter and caretaker, Terry Bishop and her husband Robert from 2013 until the end of his life.
He leaves behind his ex-wife, Joan E. Cleveland of Columbus, IN, His daughter Terry Bishop and husband Robert of Butlerville, IN, their children Amber Kelley and her husband Jeff, their children Austin and Joanna of Columbus, IN; Kyle Bishop and his wife Sarah, their children Keegan, Kinley and Korbin of Columbus, IN; Kayla Craig and her husband Jerry, their children Braxton, Brooklyn and Raelynn of Hope, IN; his daughter Kelly Chase and her husband Richard of Athol, MA, their children Jennifer Fairchild Chase Iverson and her husband John, their children Chase and Lark of Wilbraham, MA, Shane Michael Chase and his wife Isabel, their children Nicolas and Diego of Hartford, CT; his oldest sister Avis Cleveland Macher of Georgia and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was pre-deceased by his sisters: Mildred Spry, Louise Shepardson, Bernice Willis, Margret Driscoll, Dorothy King, Myrtle Murphy and his brothers: Arthur Cleveland and George Cleveland.
A ZOOM memorial service will be scheduled with officiants from the Athol/Orange Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
A graveside service will be held during spring/summer 2022 at the South Cemetery, Orange, MA.
