Kimberley E. Coy
ORANGE- Kimberley Ellen (Hatch) Coy, 57, of East Main Street, died peacefully at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with her loving family at her side.
Kimberley was born in Athol on January 24, 1961 to Joyce (Sweet, Hatch) Bashaw and the late Robert S. Hatch.
Kimberley leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael A. Coy whom she married October 27, 1982 and spent 36 wonderful years together; two children, daughter Melissa E. Coy and her boyfriend, Jason, and a son, Robert M. Coy; two granddaughters whom she cherished, Lana J. Sullivan and Whitney E. Sullivan; mother and step dad, Joyce and Carl Bashaw; six brothers and sisters, Rebecca Laclair and husband Frank, Joseph Hatch and wife Paula, Lynette Lefrancois and husband Dennis, Mechille Avdic and fiancé Chuck, Shannon Isakson and wife Becky, and Casey Bashaw and wife Kirsten; several nephews and nieces and grandnephews and grandnieces; many cousins and friends.
Kim was a huge Coca Cola drinker and avid reader, her favorite author being Stephen King and was so excited when they were filming “Castle Rock”in Orange and saw every one of his movies and read every one of his books.
She loved every holiday and decorated for each and every one of them. She was a great maker of dried beef gravy, homemade doughnuts, fudge and cookies. The kids always looked forward to making Christmas cookies with Grandma (Aunty Kim).
Kim also loved to vacation and planned lots of trips with her family, her most recent was to Cancun, Mexico
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11 a.m., at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 62 Cheney Street, Orange.
A celebration will immediately follow in the church hall.
Interment will be private at South Cemetery, Orange.
