ATHOL- Linda L. (Johnson) Mitchell, 75, of Fish Street, died at home on February 20, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Linda was born in Battle Lake, Minnesota on December 1, 1947, the daughter of Albert and Lucille (Mann) Johnson.
On September 14, 1968, Linda married William A. Mitchell III and have enjoyed over 54 years together.
Linda served in the United States Air Force.
An accountant, Linda worked for Associated Bank in the Commercial Banking Department before retiring.
Survivors include her husband, William Mitchell III of Athol; a daughter, Teresa Mitchell (Ron Bovino); sons, Scott Mitchell (Wanda), Shawn Mitchell, and Danny Mitchell (Nicole); Grandchildren, Stephanie Auger (Ashley Auger), Shane Bovino, Tiana Bovino (Misha Romanovskiy), Timmothy Bovino, Samantha Bovino, Melody Bovino (Jessee Chamberlain), Makenna Mitchell, Travis Olson (Ashlee Norlander) Jessica McKeown, Shawn Mitchell, Amber Mitchell, Sammie Mitchell (Wesley Franklin), Faith Mitchell, Emily Mitchell, Dani Mitchell, Christian Quinn, Makayla Quinn and Shane Mitchell; Great grandchildren, Robert, Jaelynn, Wyatt, Hailey l, Gage, Izzy, Mylee, Leila, Thea and Leroy. She also leaves her siblings, John Johnson, Dale Johnson (Rhonda), and Julie Silvers (Craig); sister in law, Karen Johnson; along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Albert Johnson and Danny Johnson
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Jude’s Cancer Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
