FITCHBURG- Lisa A. (Oliver) Bottalico, 64, of Oliver Street, died Thursday afternoon, September 12, 2024 at Leominster Hospital with loved ones at her side.
Born in Fitchburg on January 23, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Sheila (Hollows) Oliver and grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from Oakmont High School in Ashburnham in 1978.
Lisa had worked for Baystate Curtain for 22 years, followed by 20 years as a home health aide.
On August 17, 2013, Lisa married David Bottalico following many years of courtship. He predeceased her in 2014.
Lisa was a lover of cats and the history of the Titanic, but time spent with her family was most important to her. She was looking forward to the annual Aiken-Richardson family reunion next month, which traces back to the Mayflower settlers. Lisa was very much into genealogy.
Lisa is survived by her brother, Richard Oliver and his wife, Sue, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; a sister, Susan Oliver, of Fitchburg; nieces and nephew, Aimee Kuczmiec and husband Rob of Millville, Julie Parker and husband Athan of Emerald Isle, North Carolina and Gregory Oliver and partner Jess of Clayton, North Carolina; grand nieces, Willow, Sophie and Waverlie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lisa was predeceased by her father in 1996 and her mother in 2017.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5. 2024, at 11 a.m., at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
