Lois E. (Welcome) Raymond

ORANGE- Lois E. (Welcome) Raymond, 67, of Mattawa Circle, died late Thursday evening, December 17, 2020 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.
Born in Montague on October 13, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Percy W. and Normina (Shaw) Welcome and grew up in West Deerfield and graduated from Frontier Regional School in 1972.
On June 2, 1973, she married Keith S. Raymond at the Robbins Memorial Chapel in Greenfield where she had attended services. Lois and Keith enjoyed 47 years of marriage and raising their sons.
Lois had worked at the former Thomas and Betts Company in Orange for 23 years.
A talented seamstress, she enjoyed sewing and knitting. Lois had also enjoyed hosting Tupperware parties as well as Friendly Home parties. She was also skilled at decorating cakes.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, Keith S. Raymond Sr.; sons, Keith S. Raymond Jr. and his wife, Chandra, of Bernard, Maine, and Eric Raymond of Easthampton; a grandson, Austin Raymond of Bernard, Maine; three brothers, Wesley Welcome and George Welcome, both of Concord, Vermont, and Mark Welcome of Maine; along with several nephews and nieces.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2021 at South Cemetery in Orange at a date and time to be announced.
