ORANGE- Louise O. Flagg, 80, of Daniel Shays Highway, died early Monday morning, October 9, 2023 at home following an illness, with loved ones at her side.
Born in Lewiston, Maine on June 19, 1943, she was the daughter of Geraldine Swift and grew p in Maine, graduating from West Paris (Maine) High School.
Louise married Rodney A. Flagg on August 18, 1962 and they have enjoyed 61 years together.
Employed by the Harrington- Richardson Company in Gardner, Louise retired in 2008. She had previously worked for the B.E. Coles Shoe Co.
In 1963, Louise and Rodney moved to Barre, later moving to Orange in 1990.
Louise enjoyed gardening and computers.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Flagg of Orange; daughters, Colleen Curtis and her husband, Robbi Curtis, and Becky Deperry and her husband Patrick; a grandson, Robbi Curtis II; a granddaughter, McKenzie Deperry; and extended family of nieces and cousins.
Louise was predeceased by her mother, her step father Walter, a brother, Gerald V. Taylor, a half brother, Emery A. Taylor Jr., and a half sister, Elois A. Taylor Edwards.
There are no calling hours or services as Louise’s pre-arrangements requested.
