ORANGE- Lynn M. (Coy) Gale, 55, of East River Street, died on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare Campus in Worcester.
Born in Greenfield on March 23, 1966, she was the daughter of Victor and Dolores (Powling) Coy and grew up in Wendell and Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School with the class of 1984.
On July 20, 1991, Lynn married William H. “Bill” Gale and they celebrated 30 years of marriage this summer.
Lynn had worked for the Slencil Company in Orange, the L. S. Starrett Company, Rose’s Department Store and Niagara Cutter.
Lynn enjoyed puzzles, including crossword, tag sales, being outside in her flower gardens as well as weekly trips out shopping. Lynn loved angels and collecting Boyd Bears. She was a great cook, especially when it came to baking.
Lynn loved going to Maine and the ocean, as well as making no bake cookies for Orange Fire Department.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband, William Gale of Orange; her mother, Dolores Coy of Orange; a brother, Scott Coy and his wife, Krista, of Orange; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She also leaves many nephews and nieces; her mother in law, Judith Gale of Orange; a sister in law, Jodi Ann Gale-Cole and her husband, Chris, of Orange; and many friends.
Lynn was predeceased by a son, Corey Gale, her father, Victor Coy, a brother, Chad Coy, and her father in law, Conrad “Butch” Gale Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 9-11 a.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Candi Ashenden of the Athol Congregational Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Tully Cemetery, Orange.
