Maria A. Nunez Diaz

ATHOL- Maria Nunez Diaz was born on November 12, 1952, in the Dominican Republic, where she lived most of her life surrounded by family, culture, and love.

Ten years ago, she made the journey to the United States and settled in Athol, Massachusetts, where she continued to share her warmth and kindness with everyone around her. She passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026.

She was a devoted mother of four, a loving grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she found true happiness in being surrounded by them.

She had a beautiful spirit always happy, always loving, and always ready to help others in any way she could. Her generosity and compassion touched many lives, and she will be remembered for her big heart and welcoming smile.

Though she is no longer with us physically, her love, lessons, and memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will never be forgotten
