Right up until her passing, she loved to sit in her rocking chair in her back porch and watch and feed the wild birds. Her favorites were the cardinals, doves and wild turkeys that visited with her almost every day. Marie was a wonderful and creative cook and baker and made really good homemade bread in which she started baking with her mother Odile when she was 4 years old.
