Marilyn R. (Nadow) Kelly Obituary

LEOMINSTER- Marilyn Rita (Nadow) Kelly passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 77.

Born on January 27, 1947, in Worcester, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elliott and Cora Nadow. Marilyn’s kindness, warmth, and loving spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

Marilyn is survived by her two sons Ryan Kelly of Athol, Troy Kelly and girlfriend Ericka of Leominster, and her cherished grandson Connor. She is also survived by her sister, and best friend, Donna LeBoeuf, nephew Shawn LeBoeuf and niece Krystal (LeBoeuf) Johnson and her husband Gerry.

Marilyn was predeceased by her devoted husband of 51 years, Francis Kelly. She was also preceded by her sister Carol Nadow, brothers-in-law James LeBoeuf, Patrick Kelly, Charles Dumphy; and sister-in-law Carol Kelly.

After graduating from Holy Name of Jesus High School in 1965 Marilyn worked at Reed & Prince Manufacturing Co. in Worcester as an invoice clerk and proofreader until 1972, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail. Afterward, Marilyn embraced her role as a loving wife and mother, supporting her family while traveling the world during her husband’s military service.

Marilyn found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching movies, reading, crafting, and sewing. She was a creative soul and an active member of the Franco-American Club in Athol.

Please join the family in celebrating Marilyn’s life with a calling hour at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, MA, on January 6, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Following calling hours, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi, 101 Main St, Athol, MA at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Dementia Society of America.

Marilyn will always be in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
