ORANGE- Mary L. (James) Williams, 72, of Eagleville Road, died on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Athol Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lois (Roy) James and grew up in Orange, MA and graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional.

Mary was married to Richard Williams Sr., who predeceased her.

An accounts clerk, Mary worked for the Best Western Hotel for many years before retiring.

An avid reader, she enjoyed crocheting and going to yard sales.

Survivors include her children, Priscilla Nelson and her husband, Sean, of Winchendon and Richard Williams Jr. and his wife, Renee, of Mount Vernon, Maine; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Janice Lupien of Orange; and a close cousin, Rosemary Lyman and her husband, Glen, of New Salem.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Williams, and a sister, Susie James.

There are no calling hours and services will be private.
