NORTHAMPTON- Michael A. Chiasson, 71, of Northampton, died on October 24th at home after a long battle with multiple illnesses.
Born in Athol on March 6, 1954, Michael was a son of the late Ralph and Alexsanderia (Syzmanski) Chiasson. Michael graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional in Orange with the Class of 1972. In 2010, Michael graduated with an Associate’s Degree in computer information systems from Holyoke Community College.
Michael was a lifelong lover of guitars and was an incredibly talented artist. In his younger years, he enjoyed the adrenaline and freedom of skydiving.
Michael is survived by his sister, Patricia (Chiasson) Woessner and her husband, Michael Woessner, of Gardner; and two nieces, Christa Hadmack (Sterbinsky) and Shaunna Willhite (Woessner), both of Gardner. His family wishes him peace and tranquility, finally free of suffering.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Ralph Chiasson (1976); his mother, Alexsanderia Chiasson (Syzmanski) (2008); and his brother, Steven Chiasson (2017).
There are no calling hours or services.
Interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private for the family.
