ORANGE- Michael L. Frank, 73, died on March 1, 2023, at Umass Memorial University Campus in Worcester.
Born in Warren, Ohio on July 8, 1949, to parents Vance and Treva (Zuercher) Frank. He was known as Mike to his friends and family. He was a graduate of Bluffton College and worked in the human services field. He was a man of strong faith who was a member of the Athol Orange Baptist Church and enjoyed reading the Bible and praying daily. He loved spending time with his family and was a very devoted son who helped care for his aging parents before and after his retirement in 2014.
He was also an avid sports fan who followed the Red Sox and Patriots.
He leaves his mother, Treva Frank, three children, Jesse Frank of Lima, OH, Josie (Dennis) Meyers of Howell, MI, and James (Jessica) Frank of Marlborough, MA. Grandchildren Gage Frank of Marlborough, Colleen Riley of CT, Calli Helliwell of Worcester, and Josh Meyers of Howell, MI, and a great-granddaughter Mallorie Coughlin. He also leaves his siblings, Bonnie Frank (Kenton Tharp) of Orange, Julie Frank (James Randall) of Mead, CO, and Anita Henry (James Henry) of Orange as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Vance Frank, and two siblings, Karen Mays and Daniel Frank.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of 2 Lakeside ICU at Umass Memorial for their compassionate care.
