A force of love, grace, and resilience, Monica passed away peacefully, reunited at last with the love of her life, John. Their love story — one of loyalty, perseverance, and unwavering devotion — was the heart of everything she did.

Monica raised her family in the small town of Otis, Massachusetts, where she filled their home and community with spunk, sass, and joy. Whether she was casting a line in a mountain stream or simply enjoying the serenity of her surroundings, fly-fishing was more than a hobby — it was her sanctuary.

Her dedication to Vietnam Veterans, particularly those living with PTSD, was fierce and compassionate. Standing beside her husband, Monica became a steadfast advocate and source of strength for countless veterans and their families.

She shined as a grandmother to Emma, Natalie, Alex, Lincoln, Isabella, and Remi Lou, who made you feel seen, safe, and completely loved. As a mother, she did her best to keep Sara, Jessica, and John, grounded during the challenges life brought. 

Though the ache of her absence will be felt every day, Monica can now find peace.
