ATHOL- Pamela J. Coffin, 68, of Petersham Road, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Born in Shirley on January 26, 1956, she was the daughter of Bernal and Marilyn (Reed) Coffin and grew up in Athol and attended Athol schools. She later attended the Henri School of Hair Design.
Pamela worked at the L. S. Starrett Company for a number of years before retiring. She had also done waitressing and was a hairdresser for many years.
Pamela loved yard sales and wheeling and dealing. She enjoyed her gardening, jewelry and loved hummingbirds that came to her eight feeders. Pamela also loved her dog “Thor” and her cat, “Oliver”.
Pamela is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Jamie Coffin of Athol; a daughter, Nicole Martin and her husband, Dale West, of North Carolina; a son, Matthew Coffin and his wife, Kayla, of Athol; a grandson, Julian Martin of North Carolina; and her mother, Marilyn Coffin, of Athol. She also leaves her siblings, Randy Coffin Sr. and wife Julie of North Orange, Cindy Coffin of Athol, and Kelly Hargett and partner Mike Pierce of Athol; and many nephews and nieces.
Pamela was predeceased by grandmother Irene Jackson, grandfather Rodney Reed, baby brother Bernal Coffin Jr., and niece Alicia Hargett.
There are no calling hours
Services and interment will be private.
