Patricia J. (Teague) Rushford

ORANGE- Patricia J. (Teague) Rushford, 81, of West Myrtle Street, died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, October 5, 2025 with loved ones at her side.

Born in Athol on November 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Irene (Young) Teague and grew up in the Tully section of Orange and graduated from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in 1962.

In November of 1965, Patricia married Norman (Jerry) Rushford and enjoyed 52 years of marriage until his death in 2014.

Patricia was employed by Athol Table for a number of years doing top coat finishing. She had previously worked for the J. F. McElwain Company.

An enthusiastic astronomer, Patricia was a member of the 5A Astrology Club in Amherst.

Patricia is survived by her children, Chris Rushford and his wife Dawn of Orange, Gary Teague and his wife Lynn of Royalston, Diana Deveneau of Templeton, and Randy Rushford of Massachusetts; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Terry Teague and his wife Jean of Athol, Raymond Teague and his companion Nancy Adams of Athol, and Alan Teague Jr., of Burton, Michigan.

Besides her parents, Patricia was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Teague and a sister, Frances Flagg.

There are no calling hours.

Services and interment in Tully Cemetery will be private.
