Paul C. Zilinski Sr.

ERVING- Paul C. Zilinski Sr., 73, of West Main Street, Erving, died Saturday, March 11, 2023 surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 31, 1949 in Montague, MA, son of Charles F. Zilinski and Anne (Melaika) Zilinski. He grew up in Erving and attended Mahar Regional High School, then transferred to New Salem Academy where he graduated in 1967.

Paul was a Vietnam veteran who served in the Army as a mechanic from June 4, 1969 until his honorable discharge on December 16, 1970.

Paul served as a police officer for the Town of Erving, later becoming a truck driver in the union for years until his retirement.

Paul married Linda (Bezio) on July 11, 1969 at St. Blanche’s Church in Erving. They have been happily married for 53 years.

Paul loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, hunting, and fishing.

Besides his wife Linda, Paul leaves his beloved sons, Paul Zilinski Jr. and his companion, Tracy Fisher, Neil Zilinski and his wife, Melissa, and Scott Zilinski and his wife, Tina, as well as loving daughter, Amy Zilinski.  Paul also leaves grandchildren, Ashlie Zilinski, Colby Zilinski, Courtney Crafts, Sabryna Crafts, Lisa Callahan, Tyler Zilinski, Zachary Zilinski, and Owen Zilinski; and three great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lyla, and Ellie.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Erving Center Cemetery, corner West Main (Route 2) and Mountain Road, Erving, on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11 a.m.
