ORANGE- Philip D. Ryan, 82, of East River Street, died early Monday morning, August 21, 2023 at home following an illness, with loved ones at his side.
Born in Peabody on June 5, 1941, he was the son of the late George P. and Lorraine R. (Trudeau) Ryan and grew up in Framingham and lived in South Attleboro 60 years before moving to Orange in April of this year.
On March 21, 1963, Philip married Barbara (Stokler) and have enjoyed 60 years of marriage.
Philip was a chemical engineer for NYACOL in Ashland for many years before retiring.
An avid golfer, Philip had also enjoyed tennis, the Red Sox, the Cubs and was a huge Bruins fan. He loved the History Channel and anything to do with aliens.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Ryan of Orange; his children, Philip M. Ryan and his wife, Pamela, of Athol, Bradley Ryan of California, and Robin Lee Ryan of Attleboro; his grandchildren, David Robert Cerasuolo, who was like a son to him, of Orange, Katelyn Ryan, Mikey Ryan, Alexia Ryan,Nicole Stevens, Easton Ryan and Axel Ryan; great grandchildren, Madison Cerasuolo, Noah Twitchell, and Hayden Twithchell; sisters, Carmen Black and Barbara Steck both of California; a brother, Peter Ryan, of California; and several nephews and nieces.
There are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time.
