ORANGE- Priscilla J. (Pratt) Batutis, 86, of Prentiss Street, died late Tuesday evening on June 13, 2023 at Athol Hospital.
Born in Leominster on September 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gordon R. and Barbara (Geddis) Pratt and grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange High School in 1957.
In 1960, Priscilla married Charles J. Batutis and they have enjoyed 63 years together.
Priscilla was employed by the L. S. Starrett Company for 26 years as an assembler before retiring.
A member of the Grand Chapter of Eastern Star of Mount Toby in Greenfield, she also was a lifetime member of the Wheelerville Community Club Women’s Club as well as the Orange American legion Auxiliary. Priscilla also volunteered and made wishes come through for the Make A Wish Foundation in Springfield.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles Batutis of Orange; a son, Michael Batutis of Orange; a daughter, Charlene Allen of Ocean Isle, NC; grandchildren, Bryan Warner of Orange, Katelyn Cullen and her husband, Brody, of Athol, and Nicholas Batutis and his fiancée, Stephanie, of North Carolina; and seven great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held later this year.
A graveside service will be held on April 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. in South Cemetery, 585 South Main Street, Orange.
