Ralph Cloukey Obituary

Ralph Carroll Cloukey, 45, of Tully passed unexpectedly on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Ralph was the son of the late Carroll Ralph “Booko” Cloukey and Brenda Cloukey of Royalston. Ralph was a talented carpenter and tradesman all of his life. Ralph was an active outdoors man.  Ralph played soccer throughout his high school career in Athol.  He enjoyed hiking in the woods with his dogs, Nala and Stella.  In his younger years, he was active with his family, snowmobiling, canoeing, camping and riding ATVs. He enjoyed spending time with his father racing RC cars.  Ralph could also be seen as the smallest roller skater at both the Orange Armory and Lucky Rollers in Greenfield.  Ralph loved animals, particularly dogs and made friends with every dog he met.  He loved children and could often be seen playing in the sand and grass with them.  His heart was bigger than life. In Ralph’s later years he resided in Attleboro, MA before returning back to the Athol/Orange area.  He was supported by Mike Hinson, Josh O’Brien, Adam Casey, and many others that helped to mentor him.  Ralph was blessed with so many amazing friends and family.  He will be sadly missed for his humor, his willingness, and ability to help others and his love for those near and dear to him.

He leaves his four sisters; Lottie Johnson of Phillipston, Melissa Cloukey-Perez of Templeton, Johnna Hebert and brother-in-law Matt Hebert of Tully, and Penny Kelleher of Wrentham. Ralph also leaves his nieces and nephews including Shayna and Evan Perez, Linnea and Lilly Johnson, Camden and Kaylin Hebert, Tanner and Bryan Hebert, and one great nephew Lorenzo Alvarado.  Ralph had the support of his family and life long friends, Tom Burke of Tully, Jackie Keach of Athol and companion Julie Moore. He was Born in Greenfield on January 9, 1977 and lived in the Athol/Orange area most of his life.
