BARRE- Robert “Bobby” Gore age 75 of Barre Ma passed away on 11/12/24 after a long battle with dementia.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Angela Gore, Heather Johnson, and Kim Greenlaw; his grandchildren Alexis, Kiara, Cedric, Dylan, Trevor, Amelia, Stella, Ashlie, Colby, Camden, and Cadence; many great grandchildren as well as his brother Ray Gore; along with many nephews and nieces.
Bobby grew up in Orange, MA and later settled in Barre. He was a proud Marine who served in Vietnam and was also active in the Marine Corp League.
Bobby was very charming and was blessed with the gift of gab which led him to a successful career in the field of insurance sales. He later went on to work in the drilling business with the Brewer family until his retirement.
Bobby was known for being “memorable to people whether they knew him for 5 min or for 5 yrs and always staying true to himself no matter what anyone else thought” said his daughter Angela which she considered one of his best qualities. If Bobby wasn’t working he was either golfing or continuing to make improvements to his home.
Bobby was predeceased by his 3 siblings, Richard Gore, Louise Brooks and Terri Koloski.
Calling hours will be held Sunday Nov.24th 2- 3:30 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, followed by words of remembrance at 3:30 p.m. with military honors at the conclusion.
