ATHOL- Sandra A. (Savoy) “Dolly” Euvrard, 83, of Main Street, died early Tuesday morning, June 21, 2022 at Leominster Hospital.
Born in Athol on January 31, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ishmael and Irene (Daigle) Savoy and spent her entire life in Athol, graduating from Athol High in 1958.
Dolly was married to Albert F. “Bert” Euvrard for 38 years, who died on June 10, 2017.
A kind and caring lady, Dolly had done hospice work for 14 years. She previously has worked at the L. S. Starrett Co., Tyler Millworks, and the N. D. Cass Co.
Dolly enjoyed music and played guitar and the harmonica. She also enjoyed swimming, sewing, watching sports and loved riding her motorcycle.
She had been a member of the North New Salem Congregational Church, and previously Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol.
Dolly enjoyed spending time at camp with her grandchildren Kristy Marston and her husband, Scotty, and Chuck Marble, as well as her other camp friends.
A very spiritual person, Dolly greeted each morning with a posting on Facebook with the temperature and a Biblical passage.
Dolly is survived a son, Danny Wesson of Foxboro; a daughter, Jacqueline Marble of Sterling; step children, Philippe Euvrard of Florida, Edmund, Paul and Erik, all of Athol, Bernadette Merron of Athol, and Antoinette Euvrard of Florida; ten grandchildren; a sister, Joann Wheeler of Orange; and several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sheree Wesson, a brother, Ronald Savoy and a sister, Marcia Hastings.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in Silver Lake Cemetery, off Horrigan Avenue, Athol on July 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Edward T. Boren of the North New Salem Congregational Church officiating.
