Sharon passed away on May 28th, 2022 of complications due to pneumonia.
After leaving high school early to focus on her children, she earned her GED and then went
on to attend Junior College for medical coding and typing.
Sharon worked at Guess Who's restaurant as a waitress/bartender, Baker’s School Supply,
then worked 20+ years as an office manager.
Her hobbies included an enthusiasm for antiquing, acting as secretary of a gold panning club, reading, and being a huge fan of Jeopardy (which astounded loved ones with her vast
knowledge of topics and correct answers). She enjoyed her tv shows such as Little House on the Prairie and Ghost Hunters, with the ever-present side of popcorn.
Sharon was a devout Christian and knew the Bible well.
Sharon was an intelligent and quick-witted woman. She was unafraid to express herself, to the admiration of her family, never beating around the bush when it mattered. People knew
her for being the competent, tenacious matriarch of her sizable family. She welcomed
brothers and sisters in need into her home with open arms, helping all without question–even extending her altruism to neighborhood kids alike. For nearly 40 years, her dwelling on Highland Ave. was home to friends and family; all of whom she welcomed, fed, and hugged.
As a single mother, she managed everything on top of raising four children, whom she loved all fiercely.
Predeceased by her husband David Bigwood; brother George Choma; and daughter, Jessica Morris.
She is survived by her son Dennis Cross; daughter Stacy Eastman; and son Jakob Morris. She is additionally survived by her 9 siblings, as well as a multitude of grandchildren and
