Sheila M. (Pinner)(Drake) Hurlburt

ORANGE- Sheila M. (Pinner)(Drake) Hurlburt, 70, of Holtshire Road, died early Wednesday morning, June 21, 2023 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.

Born in Orlando, Florida on September 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Mindy Lou (Taylor) Pinner and grew up in Florida, graduating from Orlando high School in 1971.

Sheila was married to Timothy “Dusty” Drake, who predeceased her. She was later married to Larry Hurlburt who predeceased her February 5, 2023.

Sheila was a Personal Care Assistant for several years and had also done childcare and secretarial work.

She enjoyed playing darts and being with her friends. She had been a member of the Orange Gun Club.

Survivors include her sons, Jason Drake of Athol, and Aaron Drake and his wife, Amy, of South Paris, Maine; step sons, Stephen Hurlburt of South Carolina and Devin Hurlburt of Lowell; her siblings, Judy Hare, Joyce Helm, Gordon Pinner, Kenny Pinner, Brian Pinner and Dee Etta Rawlings, all of Florida; along with many nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a brother, Frankie Pinner.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial service will be held on August 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

Interment in Holtshire Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
