ORANGE- Sherri A. (Fairman) Peters, 60, of Horton Road, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, November 3, 2022 after being stricken ill.
She was born in Athol on April 14, 1962, the daughter of Richard L. Fairman Sr. and Karen (Carey) Fairman and she grew up in Orange.
On January 23, 1982, Sherri married Scott R. Peters and they enjoyed over 40 years together.
Sherri was a Personal Care Assistant and did private care.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Sherri took immense pleasure in being with the grandkids. She also loved her animals, cardinals, baking and going to the beach with Scott.
Sherri is survived by her loving husband, Scott Peters, of Orange; her children, Nichole McPhee and her husband, Eric, of Templeton, Michelle Shaw and her husband, Shawn, of Orange and Timothy Peters and his wife, Samantha, of Orange; grandchildren, Lillian Richards, Sebastian Shaw, Makenzie Shaw, Urijah Shaw, and Miya Peters.
Sherri also leaves her mother, Karen Fairman of Orange; her siblings, Kim Costa and her husband, Jimmie, of Athol, Richard Fairman Jr. and his wife, Melanie, of Orange and Kathleen Hamlett and her husband, Roger, of Orange; mother in law, Rena Peters of Orange; and a large extended family, as well as many friends.
Sherri was predeceased by her father on June 24, 2022 and by her father in law, Henry Peters on October 24, 2012.
