ORANGE- Timothy Barnes, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 25th, 2024 at the age of 72.
Born on July 26, 1952, he was a lifelong resident of Athol/Orange.
Timothy is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen and their son Dylan and also his ex-wife Diane Kowacki-Bledsoe and their 3 children, Julia, Adam, and Vanessa. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Braiden, Aria, Alvyn, Myles, and Hailey, who brought immense joy to his life. Timothy was also a loving brother to Michael, Charles, Ricky, Gregory, and his late sister Lori who will carry his memory in their hearts.
A passionate outdoorsman, Timothy loved hunting and spending time in nature. His adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for the outdoors inspired many family outings, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Timothy’s warmth, humor, and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Calling hours will be on Friday, October 4th, 2024 from 5pm-7p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
Celebration of life will be Saturday, October 5th at the Athol American Legion, corner of Exchange Street and Pequoig Avenue, from 1pm-4pm. All are welcome to attend.
