ATHOL- Ty L. Wilder, 63, of Chestnut Hill Avenue, died early Saturday morning, May 31, 2025 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington.
Born in Palmer on May 3, 1962, he was the son of Brian E. and Martha (Walker) Wilder and moved to Athol as a child.
In 1986, Ty married Chris-Ann (Tamasunas) and have enjoyed over 38 years of marriage.
Ty had worked for the Erving Paper Mill for several years and later went to work at the Baldwinville Nursing Home as a CNA.
Ty enjoyed wood working and wood burning, drawing, playing guitar and especially crafting.
Survivors include his wife, Chris-Ann Wilder of Athol; daughter, Tiffany Wilder of Athol; grandchildren, Acelynn and Adalynn; a sister, Terry Walk and her husband Stephen, of Greenfield; and a brother, Tommy Wilder and his wife Tammy, of Goshen.
Besides his parents, Ty was predeceased by his son, Tyson Wilder on May 14, 2025, and a sister Tina Schepp in November of 2024.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in Silver Lake Cemetery in Athol on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11 a.m.
