ATHOL- Tyson L. Wilder, 36, of Chestnut Hill Avenue, died at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Born in Gardner on December 12, 1988, he was the son of Ty L. and Chris-Ann (Tamasunas) Wilder and grew up in Athol, attending Athol schools and earning his GED.
Tyson enjoyed football and baseball, as well as fishing.
He had worked several jobs in the area.
Family and friends are deeply saddened by the loss and cherish fond memories.
Tyson is survived by his parents, Ty and Chris-Ann Wilder of Athol; a sister, Tiffany Wilder of Athol; nieces, Acelynn and Adalynn; uncle and aunt, Peter and Nancy Tamasunas of Athol; cousins, Jamie Tamasunas, Amanda Keyes, and Ian Tamasunas.
Tyson was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Tamasunas and John Tamasunas, as well as his paternal grandparents, Brian Wilder and Martha Wilder.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held in Silver Lake Cemetery, off Horrigan Avenue, Athol, on May 28, 2025 at 11 a.m.
