ORANGE- Virginia M. (Worsely) Martinelli, 84, of Highland Street, died Wednesday evening, November 3,2021 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.
Born in Colchester, Vermont on May 1, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Fellows) Worsley.
Virginia was married to Primo A. Martinelli for 64 years until his death on September 4, 2021.
A hard worker, Virginia had worked for the Telephone Company, Minute Tapioca of Orange and Union Twist Drill in Athol. She had also worked at the Doe Valley Deli in Orange.
Virginia enjoyed sewing, especially doll clothes, knitting, cooking and baking. Virginia and Primo baked the best apple pies.
Virginia and Primo enjoyed shopping in Maine and eating lobster at Bailey’s Island.
Virginia is survived by her children, Tim Martinelli (Jianmei), Tami Martinelli (Pat), Todd Martinelli and Tabby Martinelli; several grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased sisters, Madeline Kimball and Joyce Canedy.
