William O. Mason Sr.

ORANGE- William O. Mason Sr., 78, of Eagleville Road, died on Friday evening, December 6, 2024 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.

William was born on March 13, 1946.

He was previously married to Joan (Duel) and had worked at the N. D. Cass Company in Athol.

William liked to watch Monday night and Friday night wrestling. He also enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and was a big fan of old fashion cars.

He also liked to eat popcorn with is 4 year old granddaughter every time she would visit whether it was at home or at the nursing home. She would always have a bag of popcorn to share with him.

Survivors include Tammy Hubbard and her husband Scott of Orange, Melissa Choquette of Orange, Virginia Jones of Orange, Sherri Fitzgibbons and her husband Shawn of Athol, Pam Mason of Claremont, NH and William Mason Jr. of Orange; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

There are no calling hours.

Services will be held in the spring of 2025.
