William R. "Billy" Hurlburt

ORANGE- William "Billy" R. Hurlburt, 56, passed away unexpectedly at home due to on-going health complications, on October 24th, 2021.

Born June 9th, 1965, he attended the Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School.

William was an avid reader, chef, and construction worker in his younger years. He loved to read, write songs/poetry, draw, fish, and he loved music.

Growing up, William was an adventurous child, always finding something and some way to excite his mind, and also get him into trouble at the same time.

William, even though he had some troublesome years in his life, was a good son, brother, friend, father, uncle, and grandfather.

William leaves behind his fathe,r Larry Hurlburt of Orange; brother, Randy Hurlburt of Orange; and sister, Eve Green of Alabama.

He also leaves behind his children, Bryan Bowers of Orange, Alissa (Algieri) Alonso and her husband Joe of Florida, Michael Barrett of Colrain, Gage Stevens Hurlburt of Montana, and Clayton Draleau of Connecticut.

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Aleah Clayton, Miranda Farnsworth, Avalyn Alonso, and Elena Alonso;  and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

William is predeceased by his mother, Donna (Gray) Hurlburt, a sister Kim Hurlburt, his grandfather Ronald Hurlburt, and his grandmother Evelyn Hurlburt.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
